Business Group Overview
The Digital Home Group vision is to make Intel the
trusted foundation of your digital home. We will drive
the consumer market by defining and delivering
breakthrough platforms that result in corporate
growth. To that end, the Digital Home Group develops
computing and communications oriented platforms that
anticipate and satisfy the needs of consumers
worldwide. As we transition to a world of digital
content, our initial focus will be on living room
entertainment applications and consumer electronics
devices. We offer microprocessors and chipsets for
embedded consumer electronics designs, such as digital
televisions, digital media recorders and set top
boxes. In addition, we develop optimized Consumer
Electronics devices and Digital Home PCs, including
content and service bundles to enhance the end-user
experience. Digital Home Content Services Group
mission is to accelerate the availability of content
services on Intel platforms (PC, notebook, Speech
Transaction Board, Digital TV, cell phone and
handheld) with the goal to make content a strategic
advantage for Intel platforms. Our organization will
deliver to Intel brand promise of innovation,
integrity, boldness and fascination.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will be working as an intern in the SQE team
under Digital Home Group (Shanghai Zizhu).
Qualifications
You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree or a
Master of Science degree in Computer Science or
Electronic Engineering with more than two years of
experience with software development especially in the
following areas:
1. Be proficient in C, C++ programming.
2. Be proficient in Linux and shell.
3. Familiar with video (H264, MPEG2, VC1), or audio (MP3, AAC), or gra
phics.
4. Familiar with embedded system (ARM, DSP…) is a plus.
5. Communication and team work.
6. Good Reading and Wiring skill in English
