The Multimodal User Interface Group at MSR Asia is exploring research in advan
ced natural user interface technologies. Natural communication with machines o
r with other people via machines is critical to bringing the benefits of netwo
rked computers to the mass market. A computers user interface must cater to t
he human senses of sight, sound, and touch, which are used to navigate physica
l surroundings. New technologies are emerging that can support human-machine c
ommunications with features that are natural to humans. The challenge is learn
ing how to use these still imperfect technologies to transcend the benefits of
a single modality.

Roles %26 Responsibilities
1. Do research in handwriting recognition.
2. Propose algorithm to improve recognition accuracy.
