Siemens Management Consulting (SMC) is the in-house consulting firm of
Siemens. With integrated solutions, we increase the value of Siemens and
shape its future - worldwide.
As a result of the varied requirements of Siemens AG, we work in all fields
of consulting: benchmarking, restructuring, sales growth, innovation,
strategy, mergers & acquisitions, quality, company and regional programs and
world-class processes.
SMC and the competition
As a profit center, SMC is in direct competition with external consulting
firms. Our clients can freely decide on a consulting firm of their choice.
Thus there is no obligation to use SMC. The fees for our services are
derived from the market.
Our level of sophistication corresponds to that of external management
consulting firms. But as an internal management consulting service, SMC is
stronger in implementation. As client surveys by neutral institutions
demonstrate, SMC regularly receives the highest satisfaction values in
comparison with competitors.
Results-oriented cooperation
The key to our success is the close, results-oriented cooperation with the
customer: The client has the specialized competence, knows its customers and
market and provides the network within its own organization.
SMC provides the methodological competence and the network outside of the
client organization. With SMC, Siemens started a trend. Many corporate
groups in Germany have followed our lead and started their own internal
consulting services.

Have you completed your first degree at one of the top Chinese universities

the consulting profession? Then start your career as an Associate Consultant
in our Beijing office. As an Associate Consultant you will contribute to
expanding and protecting the position of Siemens on the Chinese and world
markets. You will learn how to apply advanced concepts and methods to
projects and will be an important, integral part of our team. At the same
time, we will support you with continuous training and regular feedback on
your personal development. In your role as an Associate Consultant, you will
be integrated into a project team with experienced consultants.
Key Associate Consultant Responsibilities
o Market and industry analyses
o Competitor analyses
o Compiling business plans
Qualifications/Job Requirements
o You have completed your university degree, preferably in engineering or
the natural sciences
o Outstanding grades (top 10%)
o Some experience in consulting or in Siemens-relevant industries (e.g.,
through internships)
o Ability to negotiate and explain complex problems and issues in Chinese
(Mandarin) and an excellent command of English
o Outstanding analytical and communication skills
o Ready to assume responsibility quickly
o A strong personality and ability to work in a team
o Mobility and flexibility
o Energy and a sense of humor
