IC Design Engineer
Reports to: SoC Design Manager
Qualifications – must have
• MSEE Degree.
• Major in EE, Computer Science or others related With EE/CS
• Familiar with Verilog/VHDL
• C/Perl programming
• Knowledgeable in ASIC design methodology.
• Self-motivated in solving difficult technical problems.
IC Verification Engineer
Reports to: SoC Verification Manager
Qualifications – must have
• MSEE Degree
• Major in EE, Computer Science or others related With EE/CS
• Familiar with Verilog/VHDL
• C/C++/Perl programming
• Knowledgeable in ASIC verification methodology
Qualifications – nice to have
• Familiarity of FPGA prototyping
• Self-motivated in solving difficult technical problems
• Good communication skill
• ASIC design project experience is preferred.
Main Responsibilities and Job Tasks
• Design and create test plans and test configurations
• Write test programs, procedures, and documentations
• Troubleshooting during test, issue test report
• Manage the database for in-house developed IP and macros
• Build up and maintain IC verification environment
• Create and verify models in Verilog/systemVerilog/e
• Run formality check between RTL and gate level net list
• System Architecture evaluation in SystemC
• Support Post Silicon Validation team in building test vector on ATE
• Support Post Silicon Validation team in silicon test
WinCE Device Driver Engineer
Reports to: System Software Group Manager
Qualifications – must have
• Master degree, Computer Science or EE
• Proficient c/c++ programming with minimum of 1-2 years of experience
• Have experience in embedded device driver development
• Have a brief understanding with the architecture of a typical operatio
n system
• Good communication skill
• Strong ability to study a new technology
Qualifications – nice to have
• Have experience with porting kernel and device drivers on linux/eCos/Q
NX
• Familiar with the specification of SD, USB, Nandflash etc.
• OAL, boot loader development experience with good trouble shooting ski
ll
• Familiar with ARM architecture
• Experience with Windows CE device driver development is a big plus
Main Responsibilities and Job Tasks
• Develop Windows CE.NET software or device drivers in C, C++, or assemb
ly language for Centrality’s SOC on reference design board.
• Port and test device drivers on reference design board Windows CE.NET.
• BSP and Key feature verification and release.
• Documentation of the software modules developed.
• Customer support and trouble shoot product issues
Multimedia System Engineer
Reports to: Multimedia Group Manager
Qualifications – must have
• Education: Master degree in computer science, electronics or electrica
l engineering
• Proficient in Directshow ( or equivalent multimedia subsystem, e.g. gs
tream, helix) filter design and architecture optimization on embedded system
• Good knowledge on multimedia algorithms
• In-depth knowledge in RTOS system architecture, including task schedul
ing, memory management, cache management
• Strong system-level debug skill
• Strong C/C++ programming skill
• S.W.A.N.(Smart, Work hard, Ambitious, Nice)
Qualifications – nice to have
• Optional: One of following experience will be big plus.
• Familiar with ARM architecture Familiar with C and ARM assemble langua

Video Codec Algorithm Engineer
Reports to: MM Manager
Qualifications – must have
• Education: Master degrees in computer science, electronics or electric
al engineering
• Architecture design and implementation of video codecs such as MPEG-2/
4, H.263/4, WMV etc.
• Modern video coding or video processing algorithm research experience
is required.
• Video codec performance optimization on ARM, DSP or other embedded pla
tform is a big plus.
• Commercial product experience, knowledge of software development cycle
s required.
• Self-start with good team cooperation and coordination skills.
Qualifications – nice to have
• Knowledge on multimedia system layer such as MPEG-2 TS/PS, DVB bit-str
eam parsing, various media container format such as mp4, avi or asf is a plus.
• Knowledge on system-level such as A/V sync, DirectShow, DirectDraw etc
is a plus.
• Background on image or signal processing is a plus.
GPS Firmware Engineer I
Qualifications – must have
• Master or PhD. degree in EE, CS or AA
• Understanding GPS: principles (signal characteristics, acquisition and
tacking theories) and applications (single-point solution, least square or/an
d Kalman filter)
• Experience in research and development of base-band processing, data d
ecode, or/and navigation solution algorithms of GPS receiver with C/C++
• Understanding Windows/WinCE Kernel knowledge

• Experience in software design with Visual C++ or/and firmware design o
n WinCE platform
• Experience in embedded system firmware design
